Shades of Black in Dark Beauty Magazine by cloistering

A Goth Fashion Shoot by Manicproject Photography that turned a touch Fetish in the process.
I had styled it with a long dress-up type of collage of elements to integrate the impact of the early seventies sculpture by Cullum Hasty he called the 'Lovemachine'. It was consequently produced commercially in a limited edition through Hugh Hefner. It was rather fortuitous to be able to track down the history of it at last after years of finding no reference.
Cullum Hasty, a Bonita Springs Florida sculptor, community activist and furniture maker worked out of his studio at home. www.marconews.com/news/2006/ap…;
He worked in metals and woods, crafting sculptures that also have practical functions. Hastings was a gymnast as well.
I consider the 'Lovemachine' a satirical commentary on the American Sexual Revolution, an astute expression of Zeitgeist.
The impetus for the photo session was in that vein, showcasing the sculpture as artifact of the times.
It was decided to simply show it as is, a Fetish Artifact, that's where the Latex came into play.
This is a snapshot I took from the sidelines at the shoot.
